Hilary blends her Shamanic training with eastern practices of meditation and sound healing for a truly unique experience. Each session we discuss and learn different intuitive tools to apply to your spirituality or yoga practice so every class is designed to be unique. Hilary will guide you through a short set of shamanic drumming and then will segue into a chakra balancing meditation while playing the crystal singing bowls. Come ready to recalibrate and let go of baggage you’ve been carrying. Sound baths are designed to move us from a place of imbalance to a place of balance. For people who might feel intimidated by meditation, this is the perfect introduction. Open to all ages and experience levels!
*Bring a journal and pen. Participants may want to write down personal insights received during the sound bath.
*Please bring a yoga mat and anything else you may need for relaxation. i.e. pillow, bolster, blanket.
*Suitable for all.
Sound therapy is one of a growing number of subtle-energy therapies that make up the field of vibrational medicine. By using rhythm and frequency, we can entrain our brainwaves to calm our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta (sleep; where internal healing can occur).
