Adding heat to the practice can offer strong cleansing benefits. It is a great way to detox the body from extra stress, tension and internal blockages. It can be very intimidating to think about an increase of temperature in what already feels like an intense yoga practice, but soon realize it's more a of a mental barrier as opposed to physical. Rest is available just like every other class, and once we learn to relax the mind into the temperature, the body will soon acclimate.
The room will be heated to 90 degrees and you will be guided through a flow of postures building internal heat, strength, balance, flexibility, and endurance. Expect a solid flow, yin postures, and guided meditaiton along with having a great time. You will experience a full body/mind detox as well as a refreshing renewal as you rise from your savasana with clear intention. We hope you can join us for this fun and cleansing evening.
