Women's Self Care Circle

Join Abbie Silvers, certified Yoga Health Coach - learn about Ayurveda, yoga's sister science and its Spring self care practices.

Women’s Self Care Circle

March Theme:

Embracing the Spring Phase of Life’s Cycles

Sunday, March 10th, 2-4pm

$25

Space is limited!

In nature around us, spring is a time of emergence and new life. Plants are sprouting, buds begin to appear on trees, colorful flowers start to bloom, and baby animals are born. The sun starts to rise earlier and set later, bringing more light to our days.

Taking cues from nature, how can we relate to ourselves during the spring time? What self care practices will support us in this season?  We may need to:

~Slowly emerge from winter and be tender with ourselves in that process.

~Connect with our bodies’ rising energy so that we can harness the vitality of this season.

~Safely find ways to play, experiment, envision, and dream big to enjoy the youthful, blossoming energy that opens us up possibilities in our lives.

March Women’s Self Care Circle activities will include:

  • A guided visualization with the maiden archetype as an inspiring, playful companion

  • A short, gentle yoga practice to awaken your body and help you “emerge from winter”

  • Guided movement practice with playful music

  • Dreaming Big collage (materials provided)

  • Tips/Q&A about spring phase self care for life’s cycles

In addition to the spring season of the yearly wheel, I will also share about three other cycles in nature that have their own spring phase or “season” and how we can apply spring self care within these cycles.

  1. The day/night cycle … honoring the dawn as the spring time of the 24-hour cycle.

  1. The menstrual cycle … honoring the pre-ovlulation phase of your monthly cycle as a natural “inner spring” time.

  2. The lunar cycle … honoring the waxing moon phase as a natural monthly spring time.

About Your Host: Abbie Silvers

As a Cyclical Self Care Coach & Guide, I recognize that nature’s cycles within and around us provide an amazing map to follow for self care. Cycles are naturally regenerative and sustainable. All we have to do is start living in harmony with these cycles to find more ease and flow in our lives.

I support women and biologically female people in becoming more aware of nature’s cycles (the seasonal wheel, the sun cycle of day/night, the lunar cycle, and the menstrual cycle) and in learning how to harness the innate wisdom of these cycles to experience intuitive, life-giving self care.

I offer virtual group & 1:1 coaching for women, as well as monthly in-person self care circles.

Conscious Breathwork

Come join Miranda as she leads you through a profound and rejuvenating breathwork class!

I will fully guide you through a specific pattern of breath, with which you are able to go deep within and flood your body with this energy, attaining a non-ordinary state of consciousness. At a bare minimum, you will have a beautiful, relaxing meditation that provides great stress relief. However, on the other side of the spectrum there are an infinite amount of stunning possibilities including a sense of oneness, emotional releases, healing of old trauma, bliss, and so much more. Regardless of the experience, which is different every time and for every person, there is no wrong way to do it and you are guaranteed healing simply by allowing the breath to fill and flow through you.

Similar to non-ordinary states of consciousness attained with psychedelics or plant medicines, this practice allows a similar profound journey and spiritual work by simply tapping into the power of the breath.

🫶That we actually see ourselves…

I invite you to something so intentional…

I’m doing something I haven’t done for a very long time…

A live event unlike any other…that is going to wrap up the year in such a special way.

Because this year…deserves it…

You deserve it…

Together…we will celebrate all that we are and all that we are becoming my soul sister.

Women's Self Care Circle

Join Abbie Silvers, certified Yoga Health Coach - learn about Ayurveda, yoga's sister science and its winter self care practices.

Women’s Self Care Circle

January Theme:

Embracing the Winter Phase of Life’s Cycles

Sunday, January 14th, 2-4pm

$25

Space is limited!

In nature around us, winter is a time of rest. Trees go dormant, many animals hibernate, and fields lay fallow to replenish the nutrients of the soil. It is not a time of outward action. It is a time for just being and allowing the unseen powers of rest to work their magic.

Many of us (myself included) don’t feel much possibility to really embrace the winter energy. Instead life gets busy during the holidays and then along comes January 1st with the encouragement to start back up, resolutions and all.

But wait. Aren’t we still in the middle of winter? Join me and other women to go “counterculture” and let’s connect with nature’s true winter energy as we gather for January’s Women’s Self Care Circle. This will be your time to receive …

~Space to recharge your energy after the holidays

~Space to simply BE without feeling pressure to jump headfirst into the new year

~Space to let go of obligations and be held in the “womb of winter”

~Space to experience quiet and stillness

~Space to be in community with others who also value rest, quiet, and stillness

If there’s any resolution I’d love to support you in creating for 2024, it is establishing a practice of honoring winter energy. Rest, slowing down, simplifying, being quiet and still … these are all qualities that are severely undervalued in our culture today. It’s time to reclaim the winter vibes to find balance.

January is the perfect time to do this since we are within the winter season. So we have a good starting point for cultivating truly restful self care practices.

And … looking ahead, I know we will all need rest and rejuvenation at times throughout the ENTIRE year. So I will also share about three other cycles besides the yearly seasonal cycle that can remind us to drop into winter self care mode periodically.

  1. The day/night cycle … honoring night time as the winter of the 24 hour cycle.

  2. The menstrual cycle … honoring the menstruation phase of your monthly cycle as a natural “inner winter” time.

  3. The lunar cycle … honoring the new moon phase as a natural monthly winter time.

January Women’s Self Care Circle activities will include:

  • Short, gentle yoga practice to release tension & prepare for rest

  • Guided visualization with the wise woman archetype as a nurturing companion

  • Yoga nidra practice for deep relaxation

  • Journaling

  • Tips/Q&A about winter phase self care for life’s cycles

All we have to do is start living in harmony with these cycles and I promise, you will begin to find more ease and flow in your life.

I support women in becoming more aware of nature’s cycles (the seasonal wheel, the circadian rhythm of day/night, the lunar cycle, and the menstrual cycle) and learning how to harness the innate power of these cycles to experience intuitive, life-giving self care.

I offer virtual group & 1:1 coaching for women, as well as monthly in person self care circles.

Women's Self Care Circle

Join Abbie Silvers, certified Yoga Health Coach, and learn about Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science and its autumn self care practices.

If you love yoga, then my guess is that you will also fall in love with Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science and Indian’s traditional system of health. Ayurveda offers a path of daily and seasonal self care practices meant to empower you to take your wellness into your own hands not only on the yoga mat, but in the rest of your life!

Join me, Abbie Silvers, certified Yoga Health Coach and women’s self care guide, for a two hour gathering in which you get to prioritize YOU and build up your self care toolkit for nurturing you.

For the month of November, we will learn about some of the suggested Ayurvedic self care practices specifically for the fall season. Ayurveda acknowledges that each season carries certain energetic qualities arising in our environment around us. We also feel these energetic qualities in our own bodies and minds. In the fall season, the environmental qualities are: cold, dry, rough (think brittle leaves), mobile (think wind blowing).

As a result, we may feel symptoms associated with these environmental qualities.

Physical symptoms: cold body temperature, poor circulation, creaky joints, dry skin, compromised digestion

Mental~emotional symptoms: nervousness/anxiety, worry and fear, overwhelm, difficulty focusing, insomnia

The following self care practices will support us in bringing balance to the fall season qualities and symptoms.

  • A short Ayurveda-infused yoga practice specifically for grounding and stability with an extra long savasana at the end for deep relaxation.

  • A guided self massage practice to promote immune strength, good circulation, happy joints, and calm in the body.

  • A guided candle meditation to cultivate warmth.

  • A creative writing activity with poetry to cultivate inner trust and peace.

  • A supportive & uplifting circle of women to access the warmth of community.

Note: Please bring a yoga mat & a journal.

Full Moon Reiki Infused Sound Bath

Gather with Katie and Nicole for a night of release and relaxation with a Reiki infused sound bath.

We are gathering under the full moon to utilize the lunar energy to assist with releasing. The full moon is a powerful opportunity to release all that no longer serves us. As the moon grows full it illuminates our shadows, as there is more light. As our shadows become visible, we are able to see what is holding us back and what is under the surface ready to be released. We will use gentle movement, breathwork, Reiki and sound healing to create an atmosphere for release, transcendence, and deep relaxation.

Reiki is a Japanese Energy Healing technique in which a Reiki Master/Healer uses gentle hand movement and symbols with the intention to guide the flow of life force energy through the body to reduce stress and promote healing. Sound healing is the use of specific instruments, music, tones, and other sonic vibrations to balance and heal the body, mind, and spirit. It utilizes sound frequencies to create a therapeutic atmosphere to promote deep rest, nervous system rebalancing, and emotional release. This sound bath will be infused with Reiki to promote the healing benefits of both modalities.

Katie Von Donlen is a certitied Yoga teacher and you can find her teaching at Elevate Community Yoga throughout the week. Providing sound bath savasanas at the end of every class, she is practiced in the art of sound healing. As an energy worker and meditation guide, she is a channel for the divine and connects to the higher realms in order to facilitate healing.

Nicole Elong is a Yoga Nidra guide, certified Kundalini Yoga, Meditation and Breathwork Instructor, as well as a Reiki master and sound healer. Trained by some of the greats in Los Angeles, she takes pride and pleasure in bringing her clients to a state of deep relaxation.

Working with the Reiki energy, the breath, and the sounds of quartz crystal singing bowls, gong, didgeridoo, frame drum and various other vibrational tools she creates an altered state of consciousness in which deep healing can occur. Nicole has been on this path of teaching and healing for 5 vears.

Join us for a magical night of release and relaxation.

The studio has props (mats, blankets and bolsters) available for your comfort. Feel free to bring a blanket or pillow if you'd like to use your own items. Wear comfortable clothing.

Cacao is also rich in vitamin A, C, E, B1, B2, and B3. The plant is high in antioxidants, increases your HDL (good) cholesterol, and reduces LDL (bad) cholesterol making it an actual heart medicine!

The night will include cacao, intention setting, a guided meditation journey, and breathwork. Kayla received her cacao facilitation certification through Embu Cacao. She uses the highest quality, organic, ethically sourced, ceremonial grade cacao. The cacao is made and served with reverence, intention, and love.

Women’s Monthly Moon Gathering: May

Sunday, May 21st 3-4:30pm

Suggested Donation: $15

This is a monthly gathering for YOU, dear woman, to begin living in greater harmony with the rhythm of the moon and the rhythm of your body’s feminine cycle. We have a beautiful cyclical nature within each of us! Our bodies, minds, and hearts shift in a cycle, just like the moon and the seasons, again and again.

This gathering invites us to optimize our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health through REMEMBERING the practice of cyclical living and honoring ourselves in all our various phases instead of expecting ourselves to be linear and the same at all times.

This once-a-month community event is for you if you are ready to:

~ Love & accept yourself more fully

~ Feel more connected to your body

~ Feel more connected to the presence of the moon as nature’s feminine guide

~ Release any shame, guilt, or self-criticism about your natural fluctuating energies

~ Reclaim and remember the beauty, power, and gifts of feminine rhythms

“What do I need right now?” is a question you will get to ask yourself during these gatherings. And then, you will get to listen for the answers that arise. You may feel any of the following:

  • A need for rest and rejuvenation

  • A desire to let your creativity flow freely

  • A need to be non-linear

  • A desire to be free and fluid in your body

  • A need for a safe space to share and connect with other women

  • A desire to reflect and process

  • A need to imagine, envision, and plant new seeds

By attending this monthly gathering, you will start to understand the phases of the lunar cycle and the phases of the woman’s menstrual cycle; how each of these phases carry certain qualities that impact your energy and your needs.  You will learn how living in harmony with the flow of nature and your own being brings more ease, empowerment, and joy to your life!

Mother’s Day Theme for May

This gathering is for all women and especially for anyone who is a mom or who is in need of nurturing mother energy. You give so much … let this be your day to receive. You listen to others so much. Let this be your day to hear yourself. You nurture others. Let yourself be nurtured & held in a safe, peaceful, and uplifting space.

We will call upon and honor the supportive energy of Mother Earth.

Note: The monthly moon gatherings will pause during the summer months of June, July, and August and will return in September 2023.
